General Terms & Conditions - Updated October 12th 2018
Price in GBP (Pound Sterling) includes packaging, and UK VAT. Excludes shipping, import/export duties and taxes, unless otherwise stated. A minimum deposit of 50% is required at the time of order, with the remaining 50% due before dispatch.
The website does do an approximate currency conversion based upon todays exchange rate and this can fluctuate up and down. For accurate pricing and bespoke shipping costs, please contact us.
Full payment must be paid prior to delivery.
- 8 to 10 weeks for all orders within the EU, and 10 to 12 weeks for all orders outside the EU.
- Lead times are only effective once the order has been placed and the 50% down payment has been received.
- An exact delivery date can be confirmed once discussed with our sales team.
An order will only enter into production once all the information from the customer has been received in writing and payment to
Hayche has been received and cleared. Goods will be supplied according to the order confirmation. Should you have any queries with the order confirmation please notify us within seven days of the date thereof. Hayche is not required to accept changes of order after the order confirmation is accepted and order placed.
Two year warranty. Warranty on Stocked and Made to Order products with customer’s own fabric is dependent on the warranty provided by the fabric supplier. When purchasing a product that is in stock (i.e. not Made to Order) the customer has the right to cancel the order and return items to Hayche within 14 days of delivery subject to the conditions below.
Right of Property
Hayche retains all rights to the products until full payment and any interest due are received, and also retains the right to cancel orders by written notification.
Order amendments may be made only if feasible and are at our discretion. All Made to Order products are non-refundable or exchangeable unless genuinely faulty. After a confirmation is issued, the customer cannot cancel an order without the written consent from Hayche.
A cancellation and/or restocking charge of up to the total order amount may be applicable on any cancelled orders. Any products that are returned should be unused and in their original packaging (please ensure you have checked the goods thoroughly before disposing of any packaging). If the customer requests a refund, Hayche will refund the amount paid for the goods excluding the original delivery and any charges for returning the goods (unless they are faulty or damaged). All delivery charges are non-refundable. If the customer fails to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to Hayche, resulting in the damage or deterioration of the products, the customer will incur the costs for any reduction in value.
Wood Appearance and Dimensional Changes
We supply high quality furniture grade wood, which may vary for colour, grain, knots and other markings. We do our best to select and match as appropriate, but we cannot accept returns on the basis of natural variations. Should you have any special requirements for the colour, matching, etc., please contact email@example.com. Wood is an active material, a natural characteristic of this is that it has dimensional changes (warpage, shrinkage etc) depending upon the climatic conditions and if subjected to (moisture, temperature, humidity etc.) and needs the correct care. Delivery and Transport
Delivery dates acknowledged by Hayche are non-binding estimates only, and are based upon the best available information concerning manufacturers lead times and transportation schedules. Orders may be shipped on, prior to (with the customer’s approval) or after the estimated date (after notification to the customer). Delivery terms will be considered as accepted by the customer unless disagreement is notified to Hayche in writing within seven days of order placement. Special delivery conditions requested by the customer should be given in writing at the time of order placement and if necessary charges may change accordingly. From delivery or placement into storage all risks for the goods pass to the customer. Nationwide UK or overseas shipping charges, are calculated from London by our delivery partner.
Countries outside the UK may incur import tax and/or duty charges on delivery which are payable by the customer. Please inquire with a local customs broker for further information. Hayche is not responsible or accountable for any import tax and/or duty charges which may apply. Orders are delivered in London by single drivers to the ground floor or your property only. Should you require a different level of service please contact email@example.com, additional charges may apply. Please be advised that the level, type and cost of delivery will vary according to the country of destination.
For imports into the USA customers will need to be aware of the Importer Security Filing (ISF) Rule more commonly known as the 10+2 Rule and must ensure you have appointed a Power of Attorney in order to clear your order of goods through customs.
All our products are quality checked before leaving the factory in perfect condition. On delivery, it is the customer’s responsibly to duly check the contents of their order before signing for it, and they should not accept delivery unless they are fully satisfied with the condition. Whereby it is not possible check the contents of your order on delivery, please specify you have inspected the box only (note condition of box if possible) and please check your order within 24 hours. Should you sign for the delivery and the contents are later discovered as damaged, the delivery company will not assume liability.
Claims for damage and shortages must be notified to Hayche within two days and written notification received within seven days. Products can only be returned with prior agreement by Hayche. We cannot accept responsibility for the non-arrival of notification within the specified time. Failure to make such claims within the specified time constitutes acceptance of the merchandise and quality thereof. Hayche may not accept claims for damage resulting from storage by the customer or storage by us on behalf of the customer and for damage resulting from accident, alteration or misuse after delivery.
Any disputes will be settled under English Law in the courts of London who are deemed solely competent to settle any dispute concerning the sale.
Hayche reserves the right to modify the Terms and Conditions without notice. New Terms and Conditions automatically supersede prior published information from the date of publication. For all general queries please contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
