But so often the pervasive throwaway culture of furniture and fashion prevents us from truly falling in love with the things we surround ourselves with. Hayche is answering the need in all of us to own things worth keeping. A need felt by hotels, restaurants, homeowners and interior designers alike, all of whom are seeking to express themselves through the furniture they choose.
We currently have over 200 customers in 19 countries – retailing through our recently opened showroom at Clerkenwell district in London, stockists in London and Switzerland, trade shows and through the company’s own online store and social media. Expanding upon our existing seating range, we are planning to include Living Room, Outdoor and Lighting collections, which will allow us to meet the demand we’ve identified in the market for natural, sustainable materials crafted into timeless and iconic pieces.
Hayche was founded on the belief that creativity has the power not only to transform and enhance people's lives, but also to generate good business. Founded by Mexican architect and product designer Alejandro Villarreal in 2014, the London-based company has a wide seating and furniture range that has achieved both commercial and critical success. The team has grown recently, with strong additions with experience from such brands as Made.com, M&S, Heals, Laura Ashley, Kartell, Made in Ratio and Habitat.
Pairing the unique Hayche aesthetic with the quality craftsmanship of family-run manufacturers in Portugal and Poland, the pieces are unique and designed to be timeless. One of the reasons you can find them in Ted Baker shops, Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton hotels, as well as in homes around the world.
With a number of awards to its name and features in many of the top design and interiors publications, Hayche is now at a critical point in its growth – developing new products, investing in stock and digital marketing and recently opening its first showroom in Clerkenwell, London’s design district.
In early 2019 we will be launching a campaign that will allow you to become part of the Hayche journey. We will be offering you the chance to own a stake in the brand through an equity crowdfunding campaign which we are hoping to run with SEEDRS, one of Europe's leading equity crowdfunding platforms. You will be able to invest from as little as £10 to as much as you like, so no matter your budget, you will be able to own part of the business. The campaign will be eligible for the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS).
