The Otto task chair is a playful and sophisticated piece that blends a simple and functional metal frame, with a sculptural and warm plywood backrest and seating area. The metal connector between the armrest and the metal frame adds a clear and distinctive touch. All the components of the task chair are easily detachable, aiding in the process of reparation, renovation and recycling. The task chair includes a comfortable upholstered pad on the backrest and a 5 star aluminium black Donati base with castor wheels.
He is also founder and principal of Hierve, an award winning multidisciplinary design consultancy based in Mexico City and London, with more than 21 years of professional design experience.
Alejandro is the Founder, Creative Director and main Designer of the company. He holds a BA in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana, Mexico City and a Postgraduate degree in Product Design from the Royal College of Art, London.
