In Conversation with Annabella Nassetti

 

 

What inspired you to be an interior designer?

I am born in Milan which is the world's capital of design. Therefore since I was a kid I was exposed to the greatest design pieces & architecture.

If they were to make a toy action figure of you, what would your accessory be?

A Pen!

 

To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life within the design world has taken?

I have graduated as a Product Designer and this has lead to the Interior Design & Construction companies set up. I would say I have always planned to be a designer since my academic life, and the ID came later as a consequence.

What would be your dream interior project?

A Hotel in Lake Como, where guests would feel at home and enjoy Italy at its best.

 

What’s something you know you do differently than most people?

I think of the space flows and the ergonomics. I do not think most designers give these the same consideration as I do. 

If you could go back in time and speak to your adolescent self, what advice would you give them about the design world?

To be true to yourself at the same time as understanding & acting on the client's brief.
