In Conversation with Interior Designer Anna Monich

Anna Monich would define herself as a storyteller.

Trained at KLC School of Design and located in the heart of London she is originally from Ukraine and settled in London in 2005. Her career actually began in Accounting in the Renewables industry, where she acquired key business and numerical skills. With her desire for fashion, art and design came the inspirational change in career to follow her heart to become an interior designer.

What inspired you to be an interior designer?

My passion for fashion, art, design and everything beautiful; human psychology and anthropology; London interiors and people.

If they were to make a toy action figure of you, what would your accessory be?

Magic wand

To what degree have you actually controlled the course your life within the design world has taken?

I am a visionary and create my own reality so everything I have done and accomplished has been designed, planned, strategised and achieved by me.

What would be your dream interior project?

Ethnic influenced modern interior of any cultural background

What’s something you know you do differently than most people?

I just follow my intuition

If you could go back in time and speak to your adolescent self, what advice would you give them about the design world?

Design is an essence of living, it's a foundation to human behaviour and well-being. It inspires, fulfils, provokes and enriches our lives. Whether you are a designer or not, always pay attention to what you surround yourself with.
